Buccaneers Up on Falcons, 7-3 at End of Quarter

Both the Buccaneers and the Falcons put together one long drive a piece in the short-but-sweet first quarter.

RB Doug Martin put up the points for the Bucs on a one-yard sweep to the left. He had 25 yards rushing on Tampa Bay’s only drive of the quarter. QB Josh Freeman has connected on all four of his passes for 56-yards. WR Tiquan Underwood leads the team with his 22-yard reception, while TE Dallas Clark added a 21-yarder.

The Falcons have put up three on a 31-yard field goal by K Matt Bryant. QB Matt Ryan has hit on all five of his passes for 33 yards. Most of the damage on their drive was on the ground as RB Michael Turner ran 4 times for 14 yards and RB Jacquizz Rodgers added 32. Julio Jones leads the receivers with 13 yards on his one reception.

The Falcons will have the ball to start the quarter on a third-and-three play from their own 32.
