Bucs Add Three, Tie Game 10-10

Connor Barth connected from 22-yards out to make it a 10-10 ball game with three and a half minutes remaining in the first half.

The drive started at the 31-yard line after Ronde Barber picked off a Matt Ryan pass. It was Ryan’s first pass of the day that didn’t land in the hands of his intended target. The Buccaneer took the short field with 5:47 remaining.

The first play of the drive started as a pass from Josh Freeman to WR Mike Williams. Rather than turning it up field, Williams caught the lateral and dropped for a pass of his own before hitting fellow WR Vincent Jackson for a 28-yard gain to the three yard line.

The Falcons managed to stop the Bucs three attempts to break the goal line. Martin ran one for two yards setting them up even closer, but an incomplete pass and run for a loss forced the field goal.

The Falcons will get the ball back at their 20-yard line after a touchback.
