Freeman Hits Tiquan Underwood As Bucs Take the Lead

The Buccaneer possession began at their own 41-yard line after a great Michael Koenen punt and defensive stop. The drama started on the first set of downs when Doug Martin was stopped just short on a third-and-inches attempt, setting up a very short fourth down.

The Bucs opted to go for it and a Josh Freeman sneak up the middle went for four yards, giving the Buccaneer offense the jump start it needed. On the next play, Freeman hit Vincent Jackson down the left sideline for a 31-yard gain and on the next play, Freeman found WR Tiquan Underwood in a pass over the middle. Underwood turned upfield and got into the end zone for the score.

With 4:07 left in the third quarter, the Buccaneers re-gain the lead, 24-21. The Chargers will begin their next drive at the 20 following a touchback.
