LeQuan Lewis Intercepts Philip Rivers

The second interception of the game belongs to Buccaneer CB LeQuan Lewis.

With under four minutes remaining in the game and down by seven, the Chargers got the ball back needing to drive down the field and score to tie the game. On the first play of the drive, QB Philip Rivers was dropped nine yards behind the line of scrimmage by DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim. On second down, Rivers dropped back deep again and unloaded the ball in the direction of the game’s leading receiver, TE Danario Alexander.

But it was Lewis who came away with the ball at the Charger 45-yard line. With 3:09 left in the game, the Buccaneers will be looking for first downs to run out the clock and close out their fifth win of the year.
