The Philadelphia Eagles have put up the first points of the game on the leg of K Alex Henery. Henery knocked one in from 28 yards out to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead with 7:13 left in the half.
The drive began with a good punt return from Damaris Johnson. A facemask penalty on Tampa tacked on 15 yards, giving the Eagles possession in Buccaneer territory.
A 10-yard pass on first down set them up at the 33-yard line. On the next second down play, Bryce Brown again tried a stretch play to the left side where he was stopped by Ronde Barber for a loss of seven. On third-and-17, Foles dropped back and let one go down the sideline where Jason Avant made an incredible jumping one-handed grab to convert the first down.
After Brown’s first big run of the game for 10 yards, the defense made the stop on first-and-goal, forcing the Eagles to settle for three.
