Eagles Have Lead at Halftime: 10-0

The Eagles got the ball back with just :28 left on the clock and were able to take the ball into Buccaneer territory on a quick 28-yard screen pass to RB Dion Lewis, then an 11-yarder to Clay Harbor. A false start penalty backed it up to a 58-yard attempt. K Alex Henery got enough leg on it, but it bounced off the left upright. The Eagles will take their 10-point lead into halftime.

The Eagles have been led by QB Nick Foles who has connected on 16 of 23 passes for 193 yards. He is also the teams leading rusher with one carry of 10 yards that became the game’s only touchdown. RB Bryce Brown, who has had two back-to-back 160+ yard performances has been held to five yards on 10 carries.

The leading receiver for the Eagles is Jason Avant with three catches for 66 yards. WR Riley Cooper has added four grabs for 37 yards.

Defensively, the Eagles have held the Bucs scoreless. DTs Fletcher Cox and Cullen Jenkins each have a sack. LB DeMeco Ryans leads the team with three tackles.

Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman had 61 yards on five completions. Doug Martin has nine carries for 34 yards, while Vincent Jackson has caught two passes for 44 yards. Dallas Clark has one grab as well for 19.

On defense, three Bucs have registered a sack. DTs Gerald McCoy and Daniel Te’o-Nesheim and DE Michael Bennett have each gotten to Nick Foles. Lavonte David again leads the team with five tackles. The Bucs have six tackles for a loss on the day.

The Buccaneers will begin the second half of the game with the ball, looking to put up their first points of the game.
