CB Eric Wright, who left last Sunday’s game in the third quarter when he re-aggravated an Achilles injury, was able to practice in a limited fashion on Friday and that means his availability against Atlanta this weekend remains a possibility.
“We’re going to have to wait and see,” said Head Coach Greg Schiano. “I think he’s done enough that we’ll see. He’s not ruled out of the game so we’re going to have to see.”
Wright as listed as questionable on the Bucs’ Friday injury report, the first one of the week that includes game-status designations. He is the only Tampa Bay player with that designation, although safety Cody Grimm has already been ruled out due to his hamstring ailment.
On the other hand, the Falcons have six players listed as questionable, only one of whom did not practice at all on Friday: DT Peria Jerry (quad). WR Julio Jones (ankle) was still limited, and LB Sean Weatherspoon, trying to return from a three-week absence due to his own ankle injury, was limited after being held out on Thursday.
