First Quarter Stats

The Washington Redskins lead at the end of the first quarter, 7-3.

Buccaneer QB Josh Freeman has connected on eight of nine passes for 64 yards. His longest pass of the day was a 20-yarder that landed in the hands of Mike Williams, who leads Bucs receivers with two receptions of 32 yards. Freeman has completed passes to five Buccaneers so far today.

Redskin QB Robert Griffin III has completed four of his five passes for 58 yards. 50 of those yards came one two passes, a 26-yard pass to TE Fred Davis and a 24-yarder to FB Darrel Young. Alfred Morris leads all running backs with 21 yards on four attempts.

The Buccaneers three points came on a 50-yard field goal by K Connor Barth. Pierre Garcon is credited with the Redskins touchdown after jumping on a Robert Griffin fumble in the end zone.

Buccaneers will receive the opening second quarter kickoff.
