Bucs Jump on Muffed Punt, Leads to Williams TD

The Buccaneers got off to a quick start to begin the second half. Josh Freeman connected with Tiquan Underwood for 17 yards. A Doug Martin run and Mike Williams grab gave them another first into Eagles territory.

However, the Eagles held on the next three plays, forcing another Buccaneer punt. Koenen took the snap and let one go to the Philadelphia 13 yard line. PR Damaris Johnson was unable to corral the ball, as it bounced off of him and to the 5-yard line where it was jumped on by Dekoda Watson.

The Buccaneers offense trotted back onto the field with just five yards to go. The first handoff to Doug Martin took them inside the two-yard line. On second, Freeman dropped back and barely overthrew TE Dallas Clark in the end zone, bringing up third down.

Freeman dropped back again for the pass, took aim to his left and let it go to Mike Williams. Williams boxed out CB Nnamdi Asomugha on the jump ball and came down with it for the touchdown. The extra point brings the Bucs within three.
